Dress Code Policy

Please keep in mind that as an Amistad Eagle, we are not just preparing you to receive your diploma, but also to be prepared for college, career, and life. Therefore:

Please do not wear the following which are examples of not dressing for success: 

• Strapless  or “off the shoulder tops” and low necklines   Backs and midriffs should not be exposed by over 1”.  Fishnet type clothing or short shorts.
  

• Hats and clothing cannot display lewd, obscene, vulgar, or offensive statements or pictures or have customized or identifying clothing as a member of any organization that is not recognized by the school or living in a particular part of town. Sexually offensive clothing will be considered sexual harassment. 

• Clothing with “In memory” or “RIP” and clothing that is representative of violence (knives, guns, bombs, alcohol, tobacco, or drugs should not be worn at school).

***A standard loaner shirt is available to wear instead of the above clothing.

Tenga en cuenta que, como Amistad Eagle, no solo lo estamos preparando para recibir su diploma, sino también para estar preparado para la universidad, la carrera y la vida. Por lo tanto:

No use lo siguiente, que son ejemplos de no vestirse para el éxito.:

• Blusas sin tirantes o con hombros descubiertos y escotes bajos. La espalda y el abdomen no deben quedar expuestos más de 1". Ropa tipo rejilla o shorts cortos. 

• Las gorras y la ropa no pueden exhibir declaraciones o imágenes lascivas, obscenas, vulgares u ofensivas o tener ropa personalizada o que identifique como miembro de cualquier organización que no sea reconocida por la escuela o que viva en una parte particular de la ciudad. La ropa sexualmente ofensiva se considerará acoso sexual. 

• Ropa con "En memoria" o "RIP" y ropa que sea representativa de violencia (cuchillos, pistolas, bombas, alcohol, tabaco o drogas no deben usarse en la escuela).

***Una camisa de préstamo estándar está disponible para usar en lugar de la ropa anterior.
