Congratulations to Allison Alaniz Ruiz, Winner of the Carol Addiss Red Ribbon Week Poster Contest!
Amistad High School is proud to announce that our very own senior, Allison Alaniz Ruiz, has earned 1st place in the 9-12 category of this year’s Carol Addiss Red Ribbon Week poster contest!
The contest theme, "Life is a movie, film drug-free," inspired incredible creativity, and Allison’s poster exemplified this message beautifully, standing out among participants from across Desert Sands Unified School District.
We celebrate Allison’s achievement and applaud her for using her artistic talents to promote such a powerful message. Her poster will now advance to the national level, where it will compete to be showcased in the annual Red Ribbon Week calendar.
A huge congratulations to Allison and to all the winners who contributed to raising awareness and inspiring others to live drug-free.
Thank you to our staff and students for supporting this impactful initiative. Let’s continue fostering creativity and positivity within our school community!
